My stay at the hotel was quite disappointing. The room I got was on the first floor, and it turned out to be at Ventura hotel instead of Philia hotel. The curtains were dirty, the walls had dark marks, and the whole place felt unclean. The extra bed was filthy, the bathroom had an old seating ring that looked like it could fall apart any minute, and there was even duct tape on the hairdryer. Mold in the bathroom, water from the shower hose going everywhere, an unhygienic toilet brush, and a non-responsive toilet washer made the experience quite unpleasant. The shower drapes were too long, covering the drain which seemed clogged, and there were only 3 hangers in a massive wooden closet, unlike what the images portrayed. Overall, I was disappointed as this did not match my expectations from any other hotel I've stayed in.

I loved the hotel's central location, just a few meters from the mini market and close to a grid outside. We were given a triple room instead of a double but it was small, yet clean and cozy for us as a couple. Being able to store our luggage after check-out was convenient. The service was friendly and they even provided us with a map of the city, which was helpful. The staff was nice and friendly overall. The breakfast was very limited, but the cured meat was tasty. The hotel's location was fantastic, close to main attractions and within walking distance of the train station. A few minor issues like shower curtains too long and limited hangers were noticeable.
